About the Adviser
The ALI Adviser is intended to inform readers about the legal topics and issues examined in many of ALI’s current projects; posts do not necessarily represent the position of the Institute taken in those projects. Posts on The ALI Adviser are written by ALI project participants, ALI members, and outside sources.
Readers can also expect the following:
- Posts will contain viewpoints from different authors. The opinions expressed by those authors are theirs alone and should not be considered representative of the official position of ALI on any topic.
- Authors of posts will be clearly identified.
- Authors may provide links to relevant material available on other websites; sources will be credited.
- ALI staff may correct or remove inaccurate or misleading posts.
Posts may contain copyright-protected material from ALI drafts and other publications. To request permission to reprint any ALI material, complete the reprint permission form.
ALI project participants should log into the ALI website to view project drafts, submit comments, or RSVP to upcoming meetings.
