An article for Law360 Access to Justice entitled “Wanted In Pennsylvania: A Fairer Justice System For Minors” examines Pennsylvania’s current juvenile justice system practices and the state’s plans for review and reform.

The article highlights the recently established Juvenile Justice Task Force, which will focus on analyzing what drives minors into the state’s juvenile justice system, and will work on identifying how those factors can be safely reduced. Additionally, the Task Force will research what policies, practices and programs have been most successful in reducing juvenile detention center population numbers in other states.
